Account Manager

The Sales team is dedicated to evolving the grower and retailer relationship into a partnership. They strive to increase the productivity of our growers, by recommending quality products and offering valued services, that contribute to higher crop yields. By having an Agronomy Lead within the organization, it allows the sales team to have agronomic support and further assurance that those recommended products, align with the growers farm business plans.

General Duties:
• Work diligently to support local growers throughout the entire growing season by providing agronomic recommendations based on seed, chemical, and fertilizer products.
• Meet with growers on their farm to drive product sales
• Emphasize product features based on analyses of customers' needs and on technical knowledge of product capabilities and limitations.
• Follow up with customers to make sure that they are satisfied with the product performance
• Responsible for meeting annual sales goals and profit margin objectives.
• Remain current with trends in the marketplace and within the Ag industry

• A minimum 5 years sales experience.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and leadership skills
• Strong problem solving and decision-making skills
• Persistence and highly developed selling skills
• Ability to identify opportunities and prospects, build customer relationships and close sales
• Work independently and as a member of a highly motivated team.
• Experience in the agricultural industry as asset, but not required.

Class 1 Commercial Drivers

Crop Management Logistics Inc., is an integrated trucking company of Crop Management Network Inc. (CMN). They provide safe and reliable transportation, of liquid and dry fertilizer, to our retail locations and CMN clients. Our retails are located in Central, AB however, the radius of travel may include travel to the US and other out of province locations when required.

The successful candidate will have:
• A valid Class 1 license; with a clean abstract
• Communicate effectively with customers, dispatch, managers and safety.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date log books using our EDL program.
• Perform Inspections and safety checks.
• Excellent customer service and organizational skills.
• Proven experience with driving applicable trucks and trailers.
• Handles all physical requirements for loading, transporting and driving.
• Knowledge and understanding of basic truck maintenance.
• Willingness to comply with all Health, Safety Environmental regulations.

Status: Full Time; commission based
