Our dedicated logistics division ensures timely, efficient delivery of products and services — allowing us to reliably support farms across Central Alberta, wherever and whenever they need us.

— OUR HISTORY

15 years of growth

From a single greenfield build in Edberg to a network of 10 retail locations and an integrated logistics division — built one acquisition, partnership, and community at a time.

2007

CMN Edberg.

Edberg Crop Management Inc. was the first location of the network. A greenfield build, constructed in 2007 — the foundation everything else grew from.

2012

Kelsey Transload Site.

The Kelsey Transload site was opened, with access to the CN rail line. It offloads liquid and dry fertilizer to all our locations and offers liquid fertilizer blending.

2013

Sjogren Logistics inc.

Edberg Crop Management acquired Sjogren Logistics Inc. — the seed of what would later become Crop Management Logistics.

2014

CMN Daysland.

In spring 2014, Daysland Crop Management Inc. began construction of their site, conveniently located on the outskirts of town.

2015

CMN Fort Saskatchewan & CMN Vegreville.

Superior Agri Services (Fort Saskatchewan) and Prairie Crop Management (Vegreville) were acquired in the fall of 2015, expanding the network north and east.

2017

CMN Holden, CML, and the Sollio partnership.

In spring 2017, Holden Crop Management Inc. began construction of their site, conveniently located on Highway 14.

In November 2017, Crop Management entered into a partnership with Sollio Agriculture. Sjogren Logistics Inc. was rebranded to Crop Management Logistics Inc.

2018

Amalgamation, Camrose head office, and CMN Stettler.

March 2018 — Crop Management Network Inc. opened a head office and retail location in Camrose, AB.

April 1, 2018 — Edberg, Vegreville, Superior, Holden, Daysland, and Battle River Crop Management amalgamated to form one company: Crop Management Network Inc.

May 1, 2018 — CMN purchased the assets of McRae Holdings in Stettler, AB. This facility is conveniently located on the CP rail line, complementing our CN access.

2020

CMN Mayerthorpe & CMN Onoway.

January 2020 — Crop Management Network Inc. purchased the assets of Dow Fertilizer in Onoway and Mayerthorpe, extending the network into north-central Alberta.

2023

CMN Castor.

September 30, 2022 — CMN acquired the Meadowland Ag Chem Ltd. business operating in Castor, AB. The 10th location in the network.
