We are currently looking to hire an Account Manager- Sales This position will have a strong focus on serving customers in the Central Alberta! Account Managers are customer-driven and determined to find ways that CMN can bring value to our customers’ farm businesses.• Account Managers sell crop inputs products (i.e. fertilizers, herbicides, fungicides, canola and forage seed) as well as basic and specialized agronomy services. • Have a comprehensive understanding of the customers’ business to align the appropriate products, services and advice. • Driven to meet and exceed sales targets at appropriate profit margins. • Contribute to the overall success of the business by increasing revenue and profit from new and existing customers. • Generate new business through networking, following up on leads from marketing activities and making cold calls. Customer contact will be face to face and through telephone and email. • Grow a marketplace for innovative or new products that provide value to the grower. • Work with the CMN team to coordinate delivery and/or customer pick up of product, ensure adequate credit is in place and support the Health and Safety program. Qualifications: • Agriculture based degree or diploma an asset • Demonstrated experience in vocational, agricultural, or a combination of education and work experience • Conducts themselves in a professional manner, and able to keep information confidential • Excellent communication and people skills, both written and oral • Proven strong computer skills including all Microsoft applications (Word, Excel and Outlook) • Preferred a minimum 3-6 years sales experience • Valid class 5 drivers licence

At CMN we are committed to provide students with the opportunity to put their education into practice. Our Summer Intern program is designed to give students a wide scope of experience and insight into the ag industry. Throughout the 4-month internship the Summer Interns will get to: work on the operational & customer service side of an ag retail; get first-hand practice and knowledge of local agronomic trends & findings; support the Account Manager and Technical Agronomist; and dive into the sales process of our business. Having this broad experience will allow our Interns to get a variety of experience to help them navigate their future focus once they complete their education journey. Position Summary: Support Ag Retail Operations: Provide operational and customer support at the retail location by: Ensuring the yard, equipment, and any buildings at CMN’s are keep clean and free of hazards. • Preparing and complete orders for delivery/transfer or pickup. Assist with blending fertilizer and follow inventory control processes. • Unloading materials and product safely and promptly from delivery trucks, and properly place them in the warehouse and yard area. • Safely operate a forklift to move, unload and load product. • Ensuring a high level of customer service is met when serving our customers. • Being active and adhering to our Health, Safety & Environment policies, and procedures at CMN. CMN Intern Program & Agronomy Initiatives: • Regularly scout customers fields and record weed, insect, disease, and other observations. • Record and document field findings in AgConnexion. • Work with Account Managers to analyze field observations and review product/service plan that aligns with the growers needs. • Assist the CMN Trial Committee with field days and ongoing monitoring of plots. • Work with our Technical Agronomist to drive CMN agronomy initiatives, communicate innovative products and present local findings/results to the Account Manager team. • Meet objectives of CMN Intern Program. Facility OperatorAbout the Position:
The Facility Operators at Crop Management Network Inc. deliver the highest quality of service to our customers, by ensuring our equipment, facilities, and warehouse are running as efficiently and safely as possible.
The Facility Operators are responsible to:
• Provide regular updates/counts on inventory levels
• Maintain equipment and conduct regular inspections on the facility and equipment.
• Assist with the receipt of product to the warehouse
• Assist customer pick-up/internal transfers of product
• Blend dry fertilizer
• Operate a wheel loader / skid steer / forklift
• Ensure the facility is keep clean and free of hazards
• Follow Health, Safety & Environmental policies, and procedures.
The successful candidate will have:
• Demonstrated ability to work independently
• Ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise.

They provide safe and reliable transportation, of liquid and dry fertilizer, to our retail locations and CMN clients. Our retails are located in Central, AB however, the radius of travel may include travel to the US and other out of province locations when required.The successful candidate will have: • A valid Class 1 license; with a clean abstract • Communicate effectively with customers, dispatch, managers and safety. • Maintain accurate and up-to-date log books using our EDL program. • Perform Inspections and safety checks. • Excellent customer service and organizational skills. • Proven experience with driving applicable trucks and trailers. • Handles all physical requirements for loading, transporting and driving. • Knowledge and understanding of basic truck maintenance. • Willingness to comply with all Health, Safety Environmental regulations. (CML) is currently accepting applications for a Journey-person Heavy Equipment Technician (Truck & Transport). This position will be based out of the Crop Management Logistics shop in Ervick, AB and support a solid preventative maintenance program for our Crop Management Network (CMN) fleet and our internal fleet of trucks and trailers.
